The consortium aims to promote connections not only with international corporations such as Apple, Google and Facebook, but also with national companies like Telefónica and LynxView, which deal with generative AI. In addition, the consortium has already established connections with prestigious international research centers including the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) and the Basque Center for Language Technology (HiTZ) in Spain; the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Germany; the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Italy; The Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores – Investigação e Desenvolvimento (INESC-ID) in Portugal; the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Sciences Du Numérique de la Université Paris-Saclay (LISN) in France; and the National Centre for Scientific Research “DEMOKRITOS” and ATHENA Research Center in Greece, which specialises on Language Technologies, amongst others.

These collaborations are intended to provide valuable professional opportunities for students, transcending the boundaries of the local socioeconomic environment. These include participation in industry-led challenges and hackathons, guest lectures and workshops, company visits, applied case studies, and optional co-supervision or mentoring of final master’s dissertations. Where administratively feasible, short-term placements or internships may be offered on a voluntary basis. This approach ensures meaningful industry involvement, strengthens employability, and maintains consistency with national regulations and institutional capacities across the consortium.
